How To Dress For Skiing Video

Video Transcript

LAURIE LAING: So let's talk about getting dressed to go skiing. You first want to start out Mulberry UK with a pair of socks. You need only one pair of socks, not two. You want to make sure that the socks that you pick have a wicking content that allows to wick away the moisture from your foot in case your foot starts to sweat. Moving up from your feet, you want to pick one good pair of thermal long underwear to put on your legs. On top of that, you want to have a nice outer-wear garment that's windproof and waterproof. And then moving up to your core, you want to use one skin layer, again, that wicks away the moisture from your skin. A second layer of skin is a good idea depending on the weather, and then an outer piece that's either a fleece or a sweater, again, depending on the weather Mulberry UK and how cold it is outside. If it's snowing, you're going to need it. And then on top of that, again, you want some kind of waterproof, windproof material on top of that. For your head, you want to wear a hat or helmet. Most of your heat escapes through your head. Then you want to wear a pair of mittens, depending on how cold it is, or a great pair of gloves. Your goggles are really important. So if you're going to wear a helmet or a hat, make sure you've got those goggles when you're going out and it's snowing. Or if it's sunny, wear a great pair of sunglasses. UV or IR is always a really great recommendation. It should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
