Historical CharactersEdit

Around 1988, Pleasant Company released outfits which were child-sized replicas of many of Samantha, Molly and Kirsten's outfits. As new Historical characters were Mulberry Alexa Bags released, matching outfits were released in a size range of Girls' 7 to 16.

These were phased out for the most part in the late Mulberry Tote Bags 1990s. Currently, the only outfits that are available are nightgowns, robes, and pajamas. The exception was a rerelease of Kit's Meet Outfit with her movie.

American Girl of Today/Just Like You/My American GirlEdit

The American Girl of Today/Just Like You/My American Girl frequently releases matching outfits in Girls' 7 to 16. They are generally sold in separate components and not in a complete outfit. The outfits have been offered since the start of the line and generally focus on items such as casual wear, beachwear, sleepwear, some costumes, and special occasion clothing.

Not every outfit is released as a matching girl's outfit.

Bitty Baby, Our New Baby, and Bitty TwinsEdit

Bitty Baby and Bitty Twins also frequently releases matching outfits for girls in sizes from Young Mulberry Women Purses Girls' 3 to 6X. They are many times modified to be less infantile, such as turning a sleeper into a top and pants. Bitty Twin Boy outfits have yet to be released.

With Our New Baby, some of the clothes for the dolls were offered in infant sizes.

Girls of the YearEdit

Starting with Kailey's Wet Suit and Bikini, one or two outfits have been available from each Girl of the Year's Collection. This is generally the Meet Outfits (modified if needed) and another outfit. This does not have to be the whole outfit--only the shirt from Nicki's Ranch Outfit was offered.
